“When someone winks or grins behind your back, trouble is on the way,” (Proverbs 16:30, CEV).

Facial expressions can say a lot about people, and a person who doesn’t look eye to eye usually has something to hide. It's important to make sure that our word and look say the same thing, and that we are honest in all our means of expressing ourselves.

Likewise, if we are to be "wise as serpants and harmless as doves" (Matthew 10:16, NKJV), then we should be aware of what such duplicity means in the body language of others.
