"Better to be humble with lowly people than to share stolen goods with arrogant people,"  (Proverbs 16:19, GW).

Again, the Bible puts more worth on humility and a decent life than to have acquired riches by cheating and hanging around with the wrong crowd.

During the ministry of Jesus Christ a very poor widow gave to the treasury in Jerusalem a tiny offering compared to the prominent people around her who offered much greater sums of money.

Christ made a point of commending on the attitude behind her offering, "So He called His disciples to Himself and said to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all those who have given to the treasury; for they all put in out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all that she had, her whole livelihood,' " (Mark 12:43-44, NKJV).

Do we look down on those who don't have as much as we do? What can we do to change our outlook?
