Proverbs: The Light Of The King's Face

article by Amanda Stiver, Mario Seiglie

Wisdom that sticks with you - straight from God's Word.

“In the light of the king's face is life, and his favor is like a cloud of the latter rain,” (Proverbs 16:15, NKJV).

When the king is happy, the joy of his face spreads gladness through the realm. His favor is as refreshing as the clouds that bring a much needed rain.

Modern leaders are the "kings" of their nations. When they are just and honest in their leadership, the nation will often, for the most part, reflect their integrity and flourish. However, when leaders are evil at heart or simply out for their own self interest, they will destroy what they have been given to defend.

When you have the opportunity to serve in a leadership capacity, what will you bring to those you serve?
