Wisdom that sticks with you - straight from God's Word.
“Get all the advice you can, and you will succeed; without it you will fail,” (Proverbs 15:22, GNB).
This timeless advice is still seldom applied because many people think they already know best and are embarrassed to ask for the opinions of others. Yet a humble person first seeks to get different points of view before making an important decision.
At other times, it can be appealing to our pride to try to figure things out on our own (often with the help of the Internet), but there are times when the practical experience or expertise of others, who know us well, is our best asset. Our ultimate source of advice should be God, seeking Him out through thoughtful, humble prayer.
