Wisdom that sticks with you - straight from God's Word.
“A scoffer seeks wisdom and does not find it, but knowledge is easy to him who understands.” (Proverbs 14:6, CEV)
Where do you search for wisdom?
Hiking to a destination without a working compass, maps, or GPS usually means we will become lost. The same goes for seeking wisdom.
Without studying the pages of God's Word, which directs us to wisdom like a compass of truth, we may collect information, but not the discernment and skill to use it properly.
Our attitude toward truth is also very important. Clarke’s Commentary says, “I believe the scorner means, in this book, the man that despises the counsel of God. Such may seek wisdom; but he never can find it, because he does not seek it where it is to be found; neither in the teaching of God’s [Word], nor in the revelation of His will.”
Have you consulted your ultimate compass and sourcebook of truth, the Bible, as you navigate today's challenges?
