Proverbs: To Eat With Those You Love

article by Amanda Stiver, Mario Seiglie

Wisdom that sticks with you - straight from God's Word.

“Better to eat vegetables with people you love than to eat the finest meat where there is hate,” (Proverbs 15:17, GNB).

Living a modest life with peace of heart and mind is better than where there are riches and contentions. Just witness much of Hollywood life-the vanity and turmoil keep the tabloids in business.

The billionaire oil baron, J. Paul Getty, married seven women during his lifetime and divorced them all. Before his death he stated he would gladly give all his fortune for just one good marriage!

All that wealth could not bring him a successful marriage and the happiness and true fulfillment he sought throughout his adult life.

What seemingly minor blessing might you have overlooked thanking God for today?
