We're sorry to see you go! We received other letters in response to our stance on this article in the May-June 2024 issue. The Bible presents God as two divine Beings -- God the Father and Jesus Christ, the latter referred to in John 1 as the preexistent Word through whom all things were created. The Holy Spirit is not a third distinct being but is, rather, the shared divine power, life, mind, essence and projected presence of the Father and Christ through which They live within believers, giving us spiritual life. For scriptural proof of all this, we encourage you to request or download our free study guide Is God a Trinity?, which you can find at ucg.org/so24. It answers a lot of questions you might have.

Thank you for sending me a sample copy of Beyond Today magazine and study aids. I have not stopped reading them since I received them, and have shared with my wife the truths I learned from them. Since I've been incarcerated, I prayed to God for forgiveness and have asked for His Holy Spirit to help me repent of my sins and get closer to Him, as I continue reading and meditating on His words. When I finish my time here by 2027, I will donate all these study aids to the library so there can be access to these irrefutable truths. I saw your programs in the Edovo platform [a correctional resource platform available in prisons] on the electronic tablet issued to us. I thank God for the sermons, and that I can have tools to serve Him correctly. The Beyond Today TV episode "You Become What You Think" by Gary Petty helps me to become a better person with regards to my inner being. I just ordered the free Bible study and magazine. I just want to say thank you for these actually being free; I didn't have to give you a credit card number. I would like to request your study guide Why Were You Born? I was a premature baby, presumed dead at birth, but revived by the family doctor. The doctor hired a nanny (Harriet) to care for me, as it appeared that my mother was not going to; I was the baby of four children. Harriet cared for me until I was about eight years old. I never felt love from my mother. Love came from neighbors. Perhaps your study guide will answer the questions I have always asked myself. I feel so at ease when I read your publications.
