I was a little surprised to read of the retirement of Scott Ashley. I'd built a connection with him so I feel sad that he's leaving, but I'm thankful for his talent and work of sharing the good news. I've been a subscriber of your magazine since 2006 when I was a college student. I was searching for the truth on the Internet, which led me to the United Church of God's website. The next thing I knew I was receiving your magazines regularly. I lost track of my magazine subscription after college, but I knew in my heart I was commanded to live by every word of God, so years later I searched your website again, and this time I contacted the local pastor. I've always prayed to God to give me wisdom in understanding his words, and your magazines have been instrumental in sharing that light. I thought of writing this letter to show appreciation to all the staff and writers behind Beyond Today magazine. May God continue to protect our works to prepare people for the second coming of Jesus Christ. -- Subscriber in the Philippines
I have been a subscriber of A Boa Nova [Portuguese-language version of Beyond Today] magazine for a long time. I am very thankful to receive this magazine for free. Thanks for the teachings! I read this latest issue of November-December 2023, and noticed that managing editor Scott Ashley is retiring, and that this is his last issue. I want to say that I really appreciate the articles and I am very grateful for the teachings directly from the Word of God. God bless you all. Thanks! -- Subscriber in Brazil
We received many notes expressing gratitude and congratulations to Scott Ashley on his many years of service and now his retirement. We wholeheartedly agree with all the praise and well wishes received on his behalf. We are working to continue that legacy in sharing the truth, in love, of the gospel of the Kingdom of God.
I'm really grateful to see your comprehensive article on this latest Hamas atrocity. I am especially appreciative of your focus: When they tell us who they are, we should believe them. We Westerners tend to be naive when it comes to terrorism. It is just so difficult to understand that bloody mindset. We will continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for that glorious day to come soon. -- From the Internet
I finally have found some answers to my many questions through your magazine Beyond Today. Everything is now making sense. Even what's happening with Israel and Hamas. Could I please request the September-October edition be sent to my postal address? I would like to start collecting copies to look back over from time to time. I thank God for leading me to deeper understanding through your literature. -- Reader in Australia

Thank you so, so much for each Beyond Today you send, as I read all of it every time. It takes time to read each issue all the way through, and I learn so much. I would like the booklets in the last issue as they interest me so much and I want to learn more. I will appreciate it so much. All your literature is so knowledgeable. Thank you, thank you, thank you, so much. -- Subscriber in South Australia
I'm not necessarily one to write in or comment, but I felt the need to do so, especially in these times. May the Lord protect us all. -- From the Internet
