Angels are not fable or myth. God created these beings for a specific purpose -- a purpose that involves you. The truth is fascinating and encouraging!

God created angels as ministering spirits, but some rebelled and chose to follow Satan. However, two-thirds remained loyal to God. The angels of God truly bring protection, announcements of great events and warnings before enforcing God's wrath. They are powerful beings who do God's bidding.

The truth about angels has been twisted and distorted into a confusing assortment of fables and myths. People have wanted their senses titillated, and they like to hear smooth things that lack true spiritual substance (Isaiah 30:10 ). So often there is a constant barrage of falsehood, against which even true Christians must guard their thoughts, actions and beliefs. God alone is worthy of worship! (Isaiah 37:16 ).

We need to ask God for His help and protection, including that which He provides through His angels. So much can go wrong in just an instant of time -- events that can change our lives forever. The intervention of angels has probably saved us from death or tragic injury on more than one occasion!

Over the years we have experienced or heard of others experiencing miraculous things -- direct physical intervention that prevented a tragic accident or a strong force that stopped us from doing something foolish!

The Scriptures abound with many accounts of the intervention of angels. They are involved in helping God carry out His plan, and they watch over each of us called according to God's purpose.

Each day we should ask our Father in heaven to afford us the help and protection that His angels can provide. Angels are a very important element of God's creation -- something not seen, and yet more permanent and real than we are today!
